Wedding chair decorations using fresh flowers need to be processed correctly and have numerous bow loops and enough ribbon to tie the flower clutch to the sides of the chair.
- 2 stems Green Privet Berries
- 2 stems White Astilbe
- 2 stems Dahlia Flower Lavender and White
- 2 - 3 stems Salal Leaves
- 1 yard 1.5" Double Faced Satin Pink Ribbon
- 1 yard 1.5" Ivory Double Faced Satin Ribbon
- Sheer Narrow Ribbon
- Finishing Touch Flower Sealant
- Draping Pearls
- Water Tubes
- Floral Knife
- Green Stem Wrap
Arrange the flowers in a hand tied bouquet. Tape it together with green stem wrap. Tie a big loopy bow under the flower heads. Cut a long length of the same ribbon to use as an attaching ribbon for tying to the chair later.
Dahlias and peonies wilt fast without water, so you may want to put water tubes on the cut ends until right before the guests arrive, then remove. Mist well with Finishing Touch after designing, then again right after attaching to the wedding chairs.
Double lengths of pearls several times and use the narrow ribbon to tie it it to the folded side of the pearls. Attach it to one corner of the wedding chair, draping it across the chair back and then tying it to the opposite side of the chair. Then use a wide ribbon to tie the bouquet to the side of the chair.
