Cut flower work especially need a good misting with a flower sealant in order to stay fresh.  I suggest all cut work be stored in refrigeration - but away from any fruits or vegetable that may give off and ethylene gas that can shorten the life of some flowers.

I use Finishing Touch or Crowning Glory for all my fresh flower designs, including bridal bouquets, wedding corsages, boutonnieres and reception centerpieces.  This is especially important for DIY flowers, who don't have a typical florist cooler (that adds moisture to the air instead of removing it like a household refrigerator) to keep all your designs as fresh as possible.
