These wedding baskets are now ready to insert the stems on the opposite side of the leather leaf greenery. I saved the stems from already used flowers and gave them a clean cut with a floral knife before inserting them into the opposite end of the foam.
Splay them outwards to simulated that they are extensions of the greens (and later the flowers) of the other side of the basket design.
Fill in the sides of the middle section of the basket.
I did put a few shorter pieces rather flattened down to conceal the Oasis florist foam. This it the area I'm going to insert a ribbon bow.
When you cut the laterals off the larger stem, strip off the bottom leaves for a cleanly inserted stem.
At this point I'm inserting leather at different angles to conceal the mechanics of this wedding basket.
