I can't introduce tropical greens without showing the beauty of Ti leaves! These long, broad leaves come in glossy green, reddish streaked and a very dark, almost black leaf.
As you can see, they resemble the smaller aspidistra leaves, which are often mistakenly called Ti leaves. But aspidistra leaves are a little thinner and don't have the heavy, waxy feel of the Ti leaves.
Ti leaves have a sturdy stem that can be cut on an angle and are heavy enough to pierce the film.
Note the placement of the long Ti leaf at the bottom of the design.
I layered another leaf on top of the first, bringing it up higher and into the center.
