As I said, I inserted even the unopened green buds of the bouvardia for more interest. If they are kept warm and have a water source, they should mature an open to full blooms.
For now, I'm just enjoying all the unique textures that this one small bouquet is going to have!
Here are the bouvardia blooms beginning to open that I left out in a warm area.
Tuck them around all sides of the bouquet.
If you have a thing for green . . . you should love this bouquet! However, succulents come in lots of colors or order the ones tinged or dyed in various colors.
The next is green Lisianthus. This flower is usually whites, purples or whites with/purple. The whites, however, can have a definite green tinge.
They remind me of small Gladiolus blooms.
Tuck some under the main succulent at the upper left.
