Fish bowl centerpieces can be made ahead of time, but be sure to buy your fish and have them in tempered water for at least a week before the wedding day. Ask at the pet store for directions on the feeding and care of the fish you use.
For this fishbowl to sit in a flowered wreath, you will need the following florist supplies and fresh flowers:
- 6 light orange standard roses
- 5 Yellow Cushion Mums
- 4 Orange Spider Mums
- 3 orange Daisies
- 3 yellow Button mums
- 3 Orange Spray Roses
- 1 8.5" Oasis Ring Holder
- 1 Yellow Colored Ice (for bottom of fishbowl)
- 1 10" clear Bubble Bowl
- 1 florist Knife
- Finishing Touch or Crowning Glory Flower Food
Arrange the flowers in the wreath and set the bowl gently on it upon delivery to the reception venue. For the care and feeding of the fish, look to your local pet store for instructions.
Mist the flowers when finished designing with a flower sealant and keep in a dark, cool room. Add water to the wreath if feels dry.
