Christmas Flower Centerpieces
I chose a rather long piece of spruce for my next greenery piece. Again, clean off the bottom stem, otherwise the bushy needles can begin to wallow big holes in your foam and it will begin to break apart and degrade.
I angled this second piece of greenery and let it lean a little to the right, opposite the longer piece of cedar.
I add in some shorter pieces of spruce. Christmas greens are pretty flexible and here is where the florist clay will come in handy. I actually press the spruce against the tacky clay and it helps keep the spruce in place where I want it to spread over the side of the container.
