Keep in mind that if you order your flowers and fresh evergreens online, you'll have to pay overnight shipping.  But if you plan on making several arrangements as gifts (or plan on making swags, wreaths and several arrangements around the house) - it is quite a bargain over buying pre-made arrangements from a florist or wire service.

Plus it's just plain fun to be a little creative and pull together a few inexpensive greens and flowers for an arrangement that lasts for quite a while.

You can add sparkle and shine to your arrangements with spray glitter - just be sure to always shake every can thoroughly before using to aerate the glue adhesive.

I never send out a single arrangement without spraying thoroughly with Finishing Touch or Crowning Glory.  This flower sealant hydrates the petals and greens and locks the moisture into the flowers.

Warm houses dry out flower arrangements quickly.  It's wise to put your arrangements in a cool area for the night and mist often with a flower sealant for the longest lasting flowers ever.

Don't forget to re-add water to the foam.  Those flowers are living items and they draw up a lot of water every single day out of that foam!
