Christmas Centerpiece
Once started. these Christmas centerpieces assemble quickly. Once the first piece of candy is in place, you simply continue placing the canes around the vase, placing them snugly against one another. If you wish - simply use clear cellophane tape and tape each one individually into place.
Go with whatever works the easiest for you.
The rubber bands have to be heavy enough to hold the canes firmly in place without slippage.
Adjust the top of the canes so that they are all around the same height. Candy canes are hand made - so they are not perfectly sized as you would think they would be. Choose your candy canes carefully and try to get packages that all the canes are about the same height.
