blue altar wedding decorations
These blue altar wedding decorations are done in a mirror style so you can place one on each side of the altar. To create a similar look, you would need the following florist supplies and fresh flowers:
- 2/3 brick Oasis Fresh Floral Foam
- 1 shallow 9" bowl
- Waterproof Tape
- 5 stems Blue Hybrid Delphinium
- 1 stem Blue Agapanthus
- 5 stems White Larkspur
- 5 stems White Ranunculus
- 2 stems White Lisianthus
- 5 White Roses
- 1 Stem White Delphinium
- 1/4 bunch Bear Grass
- 2 stems Dusty Miller
- 3 stems Ivy
- Crystal Clear Flower Food
- Finishing Touch or Crowning Glory Flower Sealant
- Floralock Stem Adhesive
Float soak the florist foam in water that has been treated with Crystal Clear Flower Food. Tape the saturated foam into the bowl with the waterproof tape. Insert the tallest delphinium first, adding the shorter flowers spraying out from the bottom.
Mist the final design with Finishing Touch or Crowning Glory. Re-wet the foam as necessary in the days up to the wedding. After the design is finished, lock the stems into place with the Floralock Stem Adhesive.
